U.S. Rep. Jim Clyburn, D-S.C., the current Majority Whip, will host a fundraiser for state Rep. Bryan Lentz, D-161, of Swarthmore, the Democratic candidate in the 7th Congressional District race, on Sept. 26 in Philadelphia.

“I'm happy to receive the support of a key member of the Democratic leadership in Congress with a long and distinguished record of public service and look forward to working with Majority Whip Clyburn in Washington, D.C., to promote an agenda that promotes the interests of our hard-working families and brings good-paying jobs to the 7^th District,” Lentz said in a release.
